URDAHL was the son of Steen and Annie Urdahl. He was born at Thor, Iowa on October 25, 1895. He entered the Military Service on September 21, 1917 and was sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. On November 26, 1917 he was transferred to Camp Pike, Arkansas, where he was made a member of Co. K, 348th Infantry, 87th Division of the National Army. Shortly after New Year he was taken sick with pneumonia and died on January 16, 1918. Private Urdahl grew up to manhood at Dahlen and lived there until he joined the Colors.
