   Funeral services have not been set for Katharina Decker of St. Ann's home,
who died at 9:30 Monday, [Dec 26] after an illness of one week.

   Mrs. Decker was born in Russia, November 22, 1866 and was married to Daniel
Decker in Russia. She came to the United States in 1891 and has lived in Stark
county since that time. Her husband and three sons, Emil, Peter, and Frank,
preceded her in death.

   Surviving relatives include three sons and four daughters, John, Jack, and
Mike, Dickinson; Mrs. Emma Herauf, Yakima, Wash.; Mrs. Agnes Dohn, Portland,
Ore.; Mrs. Barbara Kessel, Glendive, Mont.; and Mrs. Rose Braun, Richardton.

   The body will be taken from Mischel's funeral home to St. Joseph's church
this afternoon, where it will remain until the funeral.

   Mrs. Decker was a member of St. Joseph's church and St. Ann's society.

I am posting several messages with obituaries extracted from microfilm,
published in the Dickinson Press 1949-1953.

Much of the microfilm is either faded/dark/out of focus, etc. You will find
occasional instances of missing data, obvious errors, etc. In a few cases I made
corrections with data I knew to be factual, but mostly I transcribed as printed
and/or legible.
