Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, at St. Mary's church at Richardton, Father Frederick Mundt officiating. The body is now at the Mischel funeral home in Dickinson but will be in state at Richardton Sunday at the Richardton funeral home. The deceased was driving his car Thursday morning accompanied by a daughter, Mrs. George Kuch of Forsythe, Mont., now visiting with relatives in this area when the vehicle became stuck in a rut. He stopped the car and got out to get a shovel, and then complained of pain, the heart attack and death followed quickly. He was born Dec. 18, 1872, in South Russia, was married there to Eleanora Stein Feb. 5, 1902, then they came to the United States in January 1912 and he had resided in the Richardton area ever since. A farmer, he retired in 1930 and came to Richardton to reside, being vice president of the Farmers State ban there at the time of his death. His wife passed away November 29, 1945. Survivors include four sons, Fred, Peter and Emil, all of Richardton; Valentine of Mott; four daughters, Mrs. William (Eleanor) Forester and Mrs. Frank (Anna) Berger, both of Richardton, Mrs. George (Nellie) Cooke of Forsythe, Mont., and Mrs. William (Margaret) Rummel of Dickinson. Others surviving are: sisters, Mrs. Kasper Armbrust of Dickinson, Lena Senn and Francis Hoerner, both displaced persons now in Germany, and one brother Val of Spokane, Wash., also 28 grandchildren.
