   Henry J. Loran, 80, a retired Richardton farmer, died at the Memorial
hospital there April 6 at 11 a.m.

   The funeral services will be held at the St. Mary's church in Richardton.

   He was born in Russia March 17, 1871, and came to the United States in 1890.

   Mr. Loran married Elizabeth Roether in Dickinson in 1891.

   Surviving relatives are three sons, John of Yakima, Washington; Joseph of
Richardton, and Henry of Missoula, Montana; and eight daughters, Mrs. George
Gartner of Glen Ullin; Mrs. Anton Freed of Mott; Mrs. Leonard Hecker of
Springfield, Oregon; Mrs. Matt Hagel of Billings, Montana; Mrs. Joseph Schaaf of
Yakima, Washington; Mrs. Steve Tibor of Glen Ullin; and Mrs. Peter Tkach of Glen
Ullin; and Rosemary Loran of Jamestown.

   The Mischel funeral home is in charge of the arrangements. Dickinson ND Press
7 Apr 1951


Additional Comments:
I am posting several messages with obituaries extracted from microfilm,
published in the Dickinson Press 1949-1953.

Much of the microfilm is either faded/dark/out of focus, etc. You will find
occasional instances of missing data, obvious errors, etc. In a few cases I made
corrections with data I knew to be factual, but mostly I transcribed as printed
and/or legible.
