   Mrs. Katherine Weiler, 59, died at her farm home near Schefield at 1 a.m.
yesterday, after a heart attack. She had been ill for about four weeks. Funeral
services will be conducted by Rev. B. Dahmus in St. Pius church, Schefield, at 3
p.m. Sunday.

   Mrs. Weiler was born in Russia, May 10, 1891, and came to the United States
in 1903. She married Frank D. Weiler in Dickinson in 1907. One son preceded her
in death 23 years ago, at the age of 14.

   Survivors include her husband, ten sons, and two daughters. The children are:
Clement, Raphael, Henry, at home; Jacob, Peter, Frank, Mrs. Leo Billmann and
Mrs. Jack Hirsch, Schefield; Anton, Manning; and George, Dickinson. She also has
two brothers, Anton and Phillip Urlacher, New England; one sister in Germany;
and sixteen grandchildren.

   The remains will lie in state at Mischel's funeral home until Saturday at
noon, when the body will be taken to Schefield.

I am posting several messages with obituaries extracted from microfilm,
published in the Dickinson Press 1949-1953.

Much of the microfilm is either faded/dark/out of focus, etc. You will find
occasional instances of missing data, obvious errors, etc. In a few cases I made
corrections with data I knew to be factual, but mostly I transcribed as printed
and/or legible.
