STUTSMAN COUNTY MARRIAGE INDEX July 1, 1884 to 1925 - Provider G. L. Barron, 2004

This marriage index was compiled from photocopies of the county marriage index that 
were then entered into a database. The marriage information was checked against the 
original marriage records, held at the time by the Clerk of District Court.
The records are now kept by the Stutsman County Recorder, Karen Samek, 511 2nd Ave 
SE, Jamestown, ND 58401. You may obtain a photocopy of the record by sending $1 plus 
a self addressed stamped envelope. Certified copies can be had for a $5 fee.
The State Historical Society of North Dakota, 612 East Blvd Ave, Bismarck, ND 58505-0830 
has access to a state wide marriage index beginning in 1925. You may obtain the index 
information there, but the actual marriage records are kept by each county.
