information on www.ancestry.com on a public tree, "Thayer" where you can find
additional information and pictures of him and his family during this time
period too. I have also posted information about him on www.findagrave.com  I
have a book coming out this Spring about his son that will have this picture in
it and a brief summary of his occupation in Kensal, ND.  The book, A Country
Doctor Goes to War, is about Dr. Ellsworth Albert Thayer who is Roy's son.  In
this picture of the Bank "Roy" is on the left and his employee is Randall on the
right. 

Additional Comments:
My father was in contact with a Dr. from Kensal who was gathering photos for a
town reunion 2 years ago.  After my Dad sent him the information we didn't get a
reply.  I tried to contact him afterwards and also have not heard back so we are
not sure if he passed away, (he was 92 I think) and if the pictures were every
received or not.  Please contact me when you receive this so I know and let me
know if you have any questions as well.
