An old newspaper clipping with no date or newspaper name.
   Mrs. Mary Pauline Goughnor,
wife of M. F. Goughnor, died at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.
F. Rohs in Portland on March 1.
She suffered a cerebral hemorrhage
about a year ago and had been an
invalid since that time.
   Mrs. Goughnor was born in
Norway, April 28, 1854 and was
at the time of her death 70 years
and 10 monrhs old. She made her
home on the farm south of Hatton
for 40 years and then moved to
Portland where she lived with her
daughter.
   Funeral services were held
from Little Forks Lutheran Church
on Tuesday of last week. Rev. A.
J. Eikeland and Rev. C. M. Hal-
langer officiated. Besides her
husband she leaves five children,
namely, Christ Goughnor at
Alberta, Canada; Mrs. William 
Butler, Dalhart Texas: Hilda and
William Goughnor of this vicinity
and Mrs. J. F. Rohs of Portland.
