Trader in charge of a venture of the Northwest Fur Company to trade with the
Mandans. Accompanied Gen. Atkinson's expedition in 1825. 
From: Early Western Travels, XXIII., 227.

Came from Cahokia, Illinois, and died on the Rosebud Agency, South Dakota, Aug.
20th, 1900, at a very advanced age.
