CHOTEAU, CHARLES P.

Son of Pierre Choteau, Jr., principal member of the American Fur Company. In
1842, the name of this company was changed to the Pierre Choteau, Jr., Co., and
in 1854, the name was changed to the Chas. P. Choteau Company.
