Mrs. Alice Van Fleet died in Hastings last week.
Intimate friends attribute her death to a broken
heart. Deceased was the widow of Mr. Van Fleet,
who was shot by Captain Yocum on the streets of
that city some years ago. One son is the only
child left to mourn her loss.
