Ida May Shafer asks for a divorce from John F. Shafer
to whom she was married in Hastings, November 29, 1893.
She says she lived with him until January 15, 1849, when
he drove her out of the house and she was compelled to
apply to the sheriff for protection from him. She asks
a divorce and the restoration of her maiden name, Ida
May Wilkins.
