September 3, 1892, he was convicted of grand larceney in the district court here and sentenced to two years in the penitentiary by Judge Sullivan, the case being brought here on a change of venue from Boone county. He appealed to the supreme court, where the case has since been pending. Yesterday the supreme court sustained the sentence and Lamb must now go and serve time. Had he not appealed, his time, with good behavior, would now be out.
