         Death of Old Soldier

Albion, Neb., Oct. 16-- Special to the News: Elisha Culver,
one of the pioneer residents of Boone county, died at
his home in this city after a short illness. Mr. Culver
was an old soldier, having served under General Sherman
in the civil war. His death occurred yesterday.
