Queen City Mail (Spearfish, SD) Wed May 17, 1899
 
   Miss Bessie Waisner died last Thursday, after a
lingering illness which terminated in typhoid spinal
fever. She was born at Albion, Neb., fourteen years
ago. Her parents removed from Spearfish to Sheridan,
Wyo., several months ago. The body was embalmed and
sent to Sheridan for burial. Miss Bessie was a general
favorite among the pupils  in the model school, where
she has been a student for two years. Her young girl
friends devoted Friday afternoon t preparing several
wreaths as a mark of love and respect for a departed
companion.
