    The M. E. society of this place are raising
money with which to erect a church and expect
to commence building in about ten days. With
what they raise by local subscription and
from the church Extension they expect to b
able to put up an edifice fully to equal to
the Congregational church of this city. 
Butte is fast becoming a city of churches, 
having five represented here.
