    Corner Stone of Cathedral Laid
Kearney, Neb., April 23-- The cornerstone of the
Episcopal cathedral was laid here today with
befitting ceremony. Many clergymen and others 
from neighboring towns were present to assist
in the services held under direction of Bishop
Anson R. Graves. The weather was fine and a large
crowd was present.
   The Kearney High school debaters defeated the
North Platte representatives here last night in
district contest by a unanimous decision of the
judges. This was the first of state contests.
