To Any Person Legally Authorized to Solomnize Marriages, Greeting:

        You are hereby authorized to join in the holy bonds of matrimony, 
and to celebrate within said County the rites and ceremonies of marriage 
between Mr. Orison Pearsley and Mis Etta Pell 

        The father's name of the said Mr. Orison Pearsley is John Pearsley 
and the maiden name of his mother is Susan Scaggs and the father's name of 
the said Mis Etta Pell is Henry Pell and the the maiden name of her mother 
is Rachel Ervin.

The said Mr. Orison Pearsley resides in the County of Cass and the State of 
Nebraska is aged 23 years was born in Nebraska and is a White person.

The said Mis Etta Pell resides in the County of Cass and the State of 
Nebraska is aged 19 years was born in Iowa and is also a White person.

        And these Presents shall be your good and sufficient warrant, and 
you are required to return this license to me within three months from the 
celebration of such marriage, with a certificate of the same appended 
thereto, signed by you, under the penalty of five hundred dollars.

                                  IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF,  I have hereunto 
                                  set my hand and affixed the seal of the 
                                  County Court of said County of Cass 
                                  this 2nd day of January A. D. 1896

BE IT REMEMBERED, That at Plattsmouth City in said County of Cass on the 
2 day of January A. D. 1896 Mr. Orison Pearsley and Miss Etta Pell named 
in the foregoing license, were legally united in marriage by me in the 
presence of Mr. Jesse Pell residing in the County of Cass and State of 
Nebraska and Mrs. Mary Pell residing in the County of Cass and State of 
Nebraska
