Anna Becker

ST. HELENA - Anna Becker, 89, St. Helena died April 26, 1999, at Avera 
Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D.

Services were April 28, at Immaculate Conception Church, St. Helena.

Burial was held at the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Corey Stratman, Curt Stratman, Larry Schumacher, Brad 
Wieseler, Steve Heine and Dennis Kruse.           

Anna was born March 23, 1910, to Henry and Elizabeth (Heger) 1999, in  
Bow Valley.  She grew up in the Bow Valley area and married Henry Becker 
Jr. in Bow Valley June 6, 1939.  They farmed in the St. Helena area, 
and she was active in the Immaculate Conception Church Altar Society.

She is survived by one daughter, Darlene and her husband, Jerome 
Stratman, Wynot; one son, Don and his wife, Michele Becker, St. 
Helena; two sisters, Ella Arens, Fordyce and Alma Lammers, Yankton, 
S.D.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.                                                                                                                                 

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, her parents, three 
brothers and one sister.
