Visitation was March 14 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Services will be March 15 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington, with Rev. Paul Reimers officiating. Burial will be in the Hartington City Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers will be Daniel Bell, Robert Bell, Cody Bell, Frank Bell, Lawrence Dickes and Lyle Baker. Mary Lucille was born Nov. 14, 1912, to Fred and Ethel (Sawtell) Baker in Newcastle. She married William A. Bell April 6, 1931, in Yankton, S.D. He died March 17, 1989. She grew up in Newcastle and attended Newcastle High School. She and her husband farmed in the Hartington, Bloomfield and Center areas until moving to Early, Iowa, in 1975. She has been a resident of Park View Care Center in Sac City, Iowa, since Feb. 1989. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hartington. She loved to work in her garden. Survivors include, a son and spouse, Frank and Mardelle Bell, Early, Iowa; a sister, Margie Carnell, Boise, Ida.; three grandchildren, Jaci McKenna, Early, Iowa; Daniell Bell, Fulda, Minn. and Robert Bell, Oakwood, Texas; and eight great-grandchildren.
