Bregman, 86, of Hartington, who died Thursday in a nursing home, will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Cyril Werner officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 and 8 p.m. at Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington. Pallbearers will be Joe Bergman Jr., Tom Bergman, Tim Jensen, Jim Bottolfsen, Ron Bergman and Vince Whitehorn. He was born April 12, 1890 in Obert to Phillip and Katharine Bergman. He married Ethel Genevieve Gothier Feb. 19, 1912 at St. James. They lived in Obert and Flandreau before moving to Hartington in 1924. He had been employed as a truck driver. Survivors include the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Francis (Laura) Whitehorn, Mrs. Anton (Lucile) Jensen and Mrs. Herbert (Loretta) Bottolfsen, all of Hartington, Mrs. Leo (Dorothy) Nielsen of Oregon City, Ore., and Mrs. Edward (Madeline) Kruse of Fullerton, Calif.; two sons, Glenn and Dale, both of Hartington; a sister, Mrs. Phillipine Pearson of Chicago; 31 grand- children and 40 great-grandchildren.
