Bertschinger WAUSA- Tim Louis Bertschinger, 44, died Aug. 22, 1999, at West Holt Memorial Hospital Atkinson. Visitation will be Aug. 25 from 3-8 p.m. at the Brockhouse Funeral Home, Creighton. Funeral services will be Aug. 26 at 10:30 a.m. at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, Plainview, with Rev. Keith Pearson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Creighton. Tim was born Oct. 31, 1954, to Alfred and Lucille (Wheeler) Bertschinger in Creighton. He was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church, Bazile Mills. He was currently a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Plainview. He graduated from Creighton High School in 1973 and from Southeast Community College, Milford, in 1975. He married LaDonna Geiger Sept. 20, 1975, at Golgotha Lutheran Church, rural Wausa. The couple lived in Bazile Mills until April 1976. Tim was employed by Morrill Grain and Finke's Grocery. He began farming in 1976 northwest of Osmond and later farmed east of Creighton. He also owned and operated a mechanic's shop, TNT Repair, in Creighton from 1995 until the time of his death. Tim and his family devoted free time to stock car racing. Tim being both spectator and driver. He also enjoyed following his children's school activities. Survivors include his wife, LaDonna; a son, Chris; and daughter, Anne, all of Wausa; his parents, Alfred and Lucille Bertschinger; brothers and their spouses, Randy, Tod and Jennifer, Alan, and Ned and Tina, all of Creighton; and a sister and her spouse, Julie and Robert Frisch, Norfolk.
