Cash, 62, formerly of Wynot, died Feb. 5, 1999, at Marian Health Center, Sioux City, Iowa. Visitation was Feb. 7 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Funeral services were Feb 8 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wynot, with Rev. Jay Kruse officiating. Burial was in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Bow Valley. Pallbearers were Vernon Cash, Gerald Cash, Norman Cash, Kevin Salvatori, Ronnie Potts and Bill Sylvester. Honorary pallbearers were Cliff Culvertson, John Felten, Cliff Hoefmyer, Dale Bye and Robert Baumer. Clifford was born Oct. 29, 1936, to John and Mary (Thoene) Cash in Bow Valley. He married Dorothy (Stortvedt) Stallman in Yankton, S.D. Clifford grew up in the Bow Valley area, and moved to the Wynot area after his marriage to Dorothy where they raised their family. While in Wynot he owned and operated Cash's Welding and Manufacturing Business. He moved to Sioux City, Iowa, in 1980. He worked for Brower Construction in Sioux City for many years. Clifford was very active in the Alcoholics Anonymous organization for the past 24 years. He was a member of the Sheriffs Posse of Sioux City,lowa and enjoyed stock car racing. Survivors include seven children and spouses, Cheryl Simon, Sioux City, Iowa; Vernon and Teri Cash, Clarksville, Tenn.; Gerald and Susan Cash, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Norman and Dianne Cash, Sioux Falls, S.D.; John Cash, Yankton, S.D.; Diana and Dick Thompson, Yankton, S.D.; and Tiffany Cash, South Sioux City; two sisters and spouses, Pearl Ann and Ronald Potts, St. Helena; and Jean and Raymond Salvatori, Yankton, S.D.; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren a nd a special friend, Donna Schild, Yankton, S.D.
