Her funeral service will be held Friday, July 20 at the Congregational Church in Coleridge. Rev. Robert Neu will officiate at the 2 p.m. service. Burial will be in the Coleridge City Cemetery. Born February 10, 1931 in Magnet, Nebr., she was the daughter of Clarence and Mildred Pickering. She married Lester Derby on March 20, 1951. They were residents of Coleridge from 1941-1951 and then moved to Sioux City. In 1955 they moved to Mabelvale, Ark. survivors include her husband; two sons, Allen and Charles, of Mabelvale, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Wahl, Mabelvale, Ark., Mrs. James (Marjorie) Meier, Coleridge; 4 grandchildren.
