Dooley SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Alfred E. Dooley, 79, Sioux City, Iowa, died July 10, 1999, at a Sioux City hospital. Services were July 13 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Sioux City, with the Rev. Lawrence McCarty officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were James and Gary Dooley, Kevin Klemme, Doug Jaminet, Greg Gamet and Robert Kneifl. Mr. Dooley was born Oct. 22, 1919, in Hartington, to William and Mary (Miller) Dooley. He attended Holy Trinity High School in Hartington. He married Margaret Ingraham April 13, 1940. He married Marjoria Sorensen Robinson on March 12, 1966. She died in June of 1995. Dooley worked as a mechanic in Omaha; Parkerburg, W. Va.; Leesburg, Fla.; Hartington and Sioux City. He retired from Standard Ready Mix. He had been a member of the Bar 20 Ranch Stage Show in Reno, Nev. Survivors include his mother, Mary Dooley, Hartington; a son and his wife, David and Ginny, Sioux City, Iowa; two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Richard Hochstein, Crofton, and Sue and Darrell Haberman, Hay Springs; two step-sons and their wives, Arnold and Jane Adams, Henderson, Nev.; and Gary and Nancy Adams, Omaha; two stepdaughters, Darlene Parker, Dallas, Texas, and Debi and her husband, Kevin Klenime, Sioux City; a brother and his wife, Oliver and Velma Dooley, Austin, Texas; a sister, Bernadette Curry, Littleton, Colo.; two sisters-in-law, Dolores Dooley, Hartington, and Lenora Bock, Sioux City, Iowa; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, LeRoy Dooley. Memorials may be directed to St. Michael's Bell Tower Fund. Wednesday, July 21, 1999-CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
