Dooley (Photo) HARTINGTON -- Jessie A. Dooley, 92, died Jan. 18, 2000, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D. Visitation was Jan. 21 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. A prayer service was held later that evening at First Congregational Church U.C.C., Hartington. Services were Jan. 22 at First Congregational Church U.C.C. with Rev. Paul Reimers officiating. Burial was in the Hartington City Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers were Kelly Dooley, Ted Dooley, Randall Bayne, Jeff Dooley, Michal Hintz, Rick Rohde. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Rohde, Terry Dooley, Todd Dooley, Daniel L. Dooley, Daniel L. Dooley, Patrick Dooley, Jessie Gilson, Beverly Reiferrt, Clara Kusel, Doris Nelson, JoAnn Lange,and Julia Riibe. Jessie was born July 27, 1907, to William and Grace (Guinther) Bobenmoyer in St. Croix, Wis. She married Theodore R. Dooley Jan. 5, 1927, in Santee. He died April 15, 1954. She lived in Knox and Cedar counties most of her life. Jessie moved from the farm into Hartington in 1954. She was employed by several businsesses in Hartington. Jessie was a member of the First Congregational U.C.C. since 1943, and the Hartington VFW Auxiliary. She loved to bowl, dance and garden, and enjoyed her flowers. Survivors include five children and spouses, Opal and Pierce Rohde, Hartington; Velda and Virgil Bayne, Coleridge; Dorothy and Bill Hintz, Waseca, Minn.; Dale and Margie Dooley, Panora, Iowa; and Larry and Bonnie Dooley, Yankton, S.D.; 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Thomas, Grant; and a brother, Harold Bobenmoyer, Plattsmouth. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Robert and Leal; a grandson, Virgil Bayne Jr.;' two granddaughters, twins, Sharon and Karen Bayne; and a great-granddaughter, Beverly Kohls.
