Dreesen, 56, were held Monday morning at Holy Trinity Catholic chruch here. Rev. William Fitzgerald officiated. Mr. Dreesen died suddenly October 8 at the Yankton Clinic. Mr. Dreesen is survived by his wife; 12 children, Edwin of Centerville, S.D.; Mrs. Lorraine Harbeck of Lawndale, Calif.; Richard of Lusk, Wyo.; Mrs. Bernadine Davis, Mrs. Mary Hegge and Phyllis of Sioux City; Mrs. Marlene Kalin of Coleridge and Helen, Karen, Robert, Linda and Janice all of Hartington; two brothers, Fredrick and Otis Dreesen of Hartington; a sister, Mrs. A.J. (Lillian) Dendinger of Laurel and 26 grandchildren. Burial was in St. Michael's cememtery under the direction of the Wintz Mortuary. Pallbearers were Darrell Dreesen, Ronald Dreesen, Gerald Olsen, Jack Koch, Laveeral Sorenson and Lavoine Dreesen. Elmo Dreesen, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Dreesen, was born April 13, 1902 in Hartington. He was married May 19, 1924 to Florence Koch at Hartington.
