(Lucy Agnes) Dreesen. Rev. Cyril Werner officiated with burial following in the parish cemetery under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home. Mrs. Dreesen, age 78, died Sunday, May 16 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. Honorary pallbearers were Miss Cecelia Hofmaier, Mrs. Ann McGregor, Mrs. Minnie Dreesen, Mrs. Bob Gentrup, Mrs. Ceil Hegge, and Mrs. Norbert Reifenrath. Casket bearers included Joseph and Jeffrey Dreesen, Dean and Daniel Lammers and Michael and James Lowe. Born December 1, 1897 at Danbury, Ia., to Henry and Maragret (Burns) Dresden, she had resided in Cedar county since she was five years old. On October 10, 1922, she was married in Hartington. Mrs. Dreesen was a member of the Christian Mothers. Survivors are her husband and children, Mrs. Bennett (Evelyn) Lowe of Yankton, Mrs. Francis (Margaret) Lammers of Hartington, Francis of Hartington, and Kenneth of South Yankton; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Hirschman of Coleridge and Mrs. Ed Becker of Hartington; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
