Fluent ROLLA, Mo. - Floyd E. Fluent, 93, Rolla, Mo., died Dec. 31, 1999. Visitation was held Jan. 6 at Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. A grave side service was held Jan. 7 at Maskell Cemetery, Maskell, with Rev. Paul Reimers officiating. Floyd was born March 24, 1906, to George and Mary (Cook) Fluent in Elk Point, S.D. He married Mildred Lund. She died in 1961. He married Norma (Williams) Roberts April 16, 1966. He was a farmer for many years and also a furniture salesman at a furniture store. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife Norma, Rolla, Mo.; four sons and spouses, Donald and Betty Fluent, Lebanon, Mo.; Emmett and Patricia Fluent, Hartington; Stewart and Barbara Fluent, Cedar Falls, Iowa; and Phillip Roberts; one daughter, Carol Bilbrey; two brothers, Lloyd Fluent, Crawford; Eugene Fluent, Newcastle; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
