Harris, 56, who died June 1 after an illness of two months, were held from the Congregational church here Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Will Richards officiated. Music was by Buford Jones and H.J. Morten, soloist. burial was made in the Hartington cemetery under the direction of the Jones-Smith Funeral Home. Edna, daughter of Charles Nelson and Anna E. Lauritzen Nelson was born March 12, 1893 at Aten. She was a life-long resident of Cedar county. Pallbearers were: Willard Burney, B.H. Schager, P.H. Robinson, Merton Olson, Floyd Sullivan and Lloyd Morten. She was a member of the Congregational church and the church circle and the Rebekah lodge. After her illness she was taken to the hospital in Sioux City and later to the home of her sister, Mrs. A.G. Schager, where she died following a heart attack. She is survived by two children, Mrs. Lester Olsen of Wynot and Laurine Harris at home in Hartington; three sisters, Mrs. A.G. (Mamie) Schager of Wakefield, Mrs. Clarence (Elsa) Anderson of Newcastle and Mrs. Lester (Lola) Samelson of Hartington; three brothers, D.L. Nelson of Battle Creek, Ia., Charles F. Nelson of Danbury, Ia., and A.H. Nelson of Hartington; and two grandchidlren, Gene and Sharon Kay Olsen. Among those attending the funeral here were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. William Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Clark and Mr. and Mrs. John L. Nelson of Aten; Mrs. Ed Soost of Bloomfield; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Killion of Wakefield; Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Lauritzen, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Schager and sons, Leo and Donald, and Tom Barker of Wynot; Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Nelson, sr., Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Klanderud and Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Nelson, jr., of Battle Creek, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Nelson and family of Danbury, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Anderson of Newcastle; and Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Schager of Wakefield.
