Services are Nov. 18 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. William Sanderson officiating. Burial is at St. Michael's Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers are Jay Wortmann, Eric Steffen, David Steffen, Ross Sudbeck, Mark Kinney and Todd McGregor. Honorary Pallbearers are Frederick Reifert, Charles Reifert, Marvin Griess, Vernon Sudbeck, Orville Steffen and Don Becker. Rose was born August 17, 1897, to John and Elizabeth (Ernster) Miller in Hartington. She married Joseph M. Hish Oct. of 1920, in Chanute, Kan. She lived most of her life in the Hartington area. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, and the Christian Mothers. Survivors include four sons: Donald J. "Red' Hish, Woodbridge. Va., D.M. "Andy" Hish, Santa Clarita, Calif.; Gerald F. Hish, Palo Cedro, Calif. and Joseph M. Hish, Hartington, one sister, Mary Olsen, Hartington; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren.
