Services are at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 4, at St. Boniface, Menominee, with the Rev. Greg Benkowski officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Wade Hoesing, Chad Hoesing, Ryan Thorson, Kyle Thorson, Pat Zavadil and Roger Schroeder. Honorary pallbearers are all the grandchildren. Honor guard will be Janet Goeden, Verlyn Nohr, Chris Zavadil, Joan Guenther, Donna Mae Guenther, Joyce Schruman, Rita Kleinschmit and Cleo Reiff. Mary was born May 26, 1933, in Menominee to Henry and Theresa (Bruns) Schaefer. She grew up and lived in the Menominee area all her life. She attended eight years of elementary education at Menominee and graduated from Mount Marty High School. She married Dellano Hoesing April 24, 1956, at St. Boniface with the Rev. Zilli officiating. Mary belonged to the Christian Mothers and the Ladies Guild.. She is survived by her husband, Dellano, Menominee, eight children: Della Marie (Dan) Haas, Tabor, S.D.; Hubert (Deb) Hoesing, Yankton, S.D.; Karl (Lori) Hoesing, Rapid City, S.D.; Darrell (Linda) Hoesing, Gayville, S.D.; Lyle (Linda) Hoesing, Tabor, S.D.; John Hoesing, Beatrice; Sharon (Mark) Thorson, Rapid City, S.D.; and Curtis Hoesing, Pullman, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; two sisters, Rita (Wilfred) Zavadil, Menominee, and Mildred Schroeder, Menominee: two brothers, Sylvester (Evelyn) Schaefer, Yankton, S.D.; Harold (Helen) Schaefer, Yankton, S.D.; and one sister-in-law, Fern Schaefer, Yankton, S.D. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ralph Schaefer; and two sisters, Sister Maxine and Theresa Schaefer. Memorials may be directed to the Beatrice State Developmental Center, Attn.
