E.G. Whale officiating. A male quartet composed of Elvaughn Johnson, Harlan and Donald Hult and Dick Nixon accompanied by Mrs. Carl Lingren provided music for the service. Burial was made in the Wausa cemetery. Pallbearers were: Melvin Larson, Milton Berg, Harold Larson, Marlin Beals, Edwin Olson and Phil Burke. Arthur Martinus, son of P.W. and Ida Louise Holst was born May 11, 1896 at Hartington. He graduated from Wausa high school with the class of 1914, and then attended the University of Nebraska one year. He was united in marriage with Isa Holmes April 18, 1928. He was confirmed in the Lutheran church as a youth and in 1918 joined the Methodist church. He is survived by his wife, Isa; one brother, Coy and wife; and a nephew and wife and daughter.
