Services were March 23 at Conger Morris Medford Chapel. Addo Was born March 13, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa. The family moved to the Rogue Valley six years later. He attended Sacred Heart and St. Mary's schools and also coached Babe Ruth and Little League baseball. Later, he was a pitcher in city baseball leagues. He married Shari Kay McDonald Sept. 21, 1974, in Medford. In addition to the antique business, Mr. Kathol also owned the Arco gas station on Crater Lake Avenue for many years. He was active in civic affairs, particularly those involved in downtown Medford development. He also served on the Medford Parking Commission. Survivors include, his wife; two brothers, Keith, Grants Pass, Ore.; and Kelvin, Central Point, Ore.; two sisters: Rhonda Brooks, Medford, Ore.; and Claudette Croucher, Eagle Point, Ore.; and his mother, Vivian Kathol, Medford, Ore.
