The little girl who was two years old June 21, had been ill about two weeks and was apparently recovering when she suffered the hemorrhage. The funeral with burial in the St. James Catholic cemetery, was Thursday afternoon with Rev. Anthony Paschang officiating. Survivors included the parents, three brothers and one sister. The Kleinschmidt family has been ill with scarlet fever with the exception of Mr. Kleinschmidt and the oldest boy and the home has been under quarentine. The illness made its appearance shortly after the family visited with relatives in Iowa, who had just been released from the quarentine for scarlet fever. Miss Gertrude Steinhoff of St. Helena, trained nurse, is caring for the family.
