HENRY LANGE, 68 ---------- Died Here Saturday, May 22; Had Been Ill Only Briefly ---------- Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Lange, 68, who died at her home here Saturday after a brief illness, were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 from Holy Trinity church with Rev. Edward Schad officiating. Burial was made in St. Michael's cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Werner Burach, Gilert and Victor Heimes, Arthur and Robert Lange and Raymond Kaiser. Honorary pallbearers were: Mrs. J.W. Leise, Mrs. Edward W. Hesse, Mrs. Joe Leise, Mrs. Jacob Feilmeier, Mrs. Mike Eichenseer and Mrs. Albert Hirschman. Elizabeth Louise, daughter of Anton and Josephine Heimes was born at Bow Valley February 1, 1880. Her entire life was spent in the Bow Valley and Hartington communities. She was married to Henry Lange of Hartington at Bow Valley, Janaury 27, 1903. To this union nine children were born. She is survived by her husband; six children, Mrs. Ted (Victoria) Artz of Beebe, S.D., Wendelin of Bowdle, S.D., Mrs. Hugo (Alma) Stratman of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Clarence (Christine) Weinandt of Fox Lake, Wis., and 21 grand- children. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond, 2; a daughter, Regina, 9 months; and a daughter, Elizabeth, 8. 26 MAY 1948 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
