Rev. O. L. Levorson officiated at the service. Hans Anderson of Wynot sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "Thine, O Jesus, Now and Ever." Burial was made in Paragon cemetery. Pallberarers were: A.G. Schager, B.H. Schager, Herbert and Kenneth Bottolfsen and LeRoy and Franklin Olsen. Julius Magnus, son of Berhardt and Andrina Olsen was born in the Paragon community June 21, 1871. He was married to Caroline O. Bottolfsen at Paragon April 26, 1899. All of their married life was spent in the Paragon community. Mrs. Olsen died in August, 1949. During his life Mr. Olsen engaged in farming, except for the last five years. Since then he has had his home with his daughter, Mrs. Art Swan. He is survived by three sons, Maurice B. of Norfolk, Harvey E. of Bellflower, Calif., and Carl J. of Creighton; and one daughter, Mrs. Art E. (Helen) Swan of Hartington; two brothers, Cornelius of Fremont and O.W. of San Diego, Calif.; and seven grandchildren. Those who came from out of town in addition to his sons and their wives were: Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rhodes of Madison, S.D.; Mrs. Isa HOlst of Plainview; Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Schager of Wakefield; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Anderson and Mrs. Lena Tvedt of Maskell; Mrs. W.A. Grant and Corneluis Olsen of Fremont; Mrs. Augusta J. Eilerts of West Point; and Mrs. Lloyd Sinkey of Fairbury. April 1952 Cedar County News
