BOW VALLEY- Cody Dean Pick, 3, died an accidental death Oct. 25, 1999, 
at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D.

Visitation was Oct.27 at Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington.  A vigil 
service was held later that night at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic 
Church, Bow Valley.

Mass of Christian Burial was Oct. 28 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic 
Church, Bow Valley, with Rev. Mark Tomasiewicz officiating.

Burial was held at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Bow Valley.

Pallbearers were Dean Pick, Darin Pick, David Kleinschmit and John 
Kleinschmit.

Cody was born July 31, 1996, to Timothy Joseph and Kathy Carol 
(Kleinschmit) Pick.

Survivors include his parents, Tim and Kathy Pick, Hartington; one 
brother, Eric, at home; one sister, Ashley, at home; maternal 
grandparents, Daniel and Rose Ann Kleinschmit, Wausa; paternal 
grandparents Kenneth and Charlotte Pick, Hartington; paternal great-
grandmother, Loretta Schmidt, Yankton, S.D. and many aunts and uncles.   

He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents and paternal 
great-grandfather.
