Visitation was March 5, 1999, at the Wintz Funeral Home, Coleridge. A vigil service was held later that evening at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Coleridge. Funeral services were held March 6, 1999, at Holy Trinity Catholic church, Hartington, with Rev. Stan Schmit officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery, Coleridge. Pallbearers were Richard Rickett, Dennis Naslund, Jeremy Johnson, Todd Pinkelman, Troy Pinkelman and Jeff Schmidt. Benjamin was born Nov 1979, to Keevin L. and Lorraine J. (Stanley) Pinkelman in Yankton, S.D. He grew up ten miles west of Coleridge and graduated from Coleridge High School in 1998. He was a member of the Coleridge High School Football Championship Team. He was a member of the choraleers while in high school. Ben was a member of 4-H and was attending Northeast Technical Community College in Norfolk, majoring in diesel mechanics. Survivors include: his parents: Keevin and Lorraine Pinkelman, Hartington; three brothers and spouse; Jason and Jennifer Pinkelman, Hartington; Josh Pinkelman, Lincoln; Luke Pinkelman, Hartington; Leah Pinkelman, Hartington; and Sheila Pinkelman, Hartington; maternal grandmother, Rita Stanley, South Sioux City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
