Pretzer, 90, of Crofton, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Cedars Nursing Home in Hartington. His service was held Monday, December 18, at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington. Rev. David Astrup officiated at the 2 pm service. Burial was in the Hartington City Cemetery. George Pretzer was born February 21, 1882 at Clatonia, Nebr., to Robert and Louise Struckmeyer Pretzer. In 1919 he moved from Clatonia to California. Then in 1920 he moved to Alma, Ne., In 1922 his residence was Phillips Co., Kansas. He lived in Crofton from 1966 - 1976. His occupation was farming. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Wilma Hamilton, Crofton, and Mrs. Norma Cooper, Lemon Grove, California, one brother, William, Lincoln, one sister, Mrs. Minnie Lang, Bethany, Okla; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roland Harling, Randy Tramp, Larry Hamilton, Lowell Tanderup, George Tanderup and George Hamilton.
