REDL Mathew M. Redl, 64, Pierce, Idaho, former Sioux City resident, died Tuesday in Pierce after a two-month illness. Mr. Redl was born November 2, 1892, in Newcastle, Neb. He married Margaret Gothier July 22, 1919. The couple resided at Newcastle and Sioux City before moving to Pierce about 10 years ago where Mr. Redl was employed as a postal clerk. Survivng are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Dalores Schroeder of Sioux City and Mrs. Cleone Hintz of Pierce; a son, James of Pierce; a brother, Peter of Newcastle; a sister, Mrs. Christine Beyeler of Newcastle; a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Powers, also of Newcastle, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Orofino, Idaho, Catholic church. Burial...Idaho. 1957 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
