CONRAD SCHULTE, FORMER RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES IN TEXAS Funeral services for Mrs. Conrad Schulte, 80, former Cedar county resident, were held November 25, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth, Tex. Mrs. Schulte died November 23, at her home in Nazareth. She had been ill five years. Survivors include her husband; seven children, Albert Schulte, Mrs. Rose Hindman and Clarence Schulte of Nazareth; Mrs. Elizabeth Briting of Amarillo, Tex; Eddie Schulte of Westly, Ark; Mrs. Theresa Wills of Groom, Tex., 28 grandchildren and six great-granchildren. Two sons, Martin and George, preceded her in death. Josephine Fernolz Schulte was born in Iowa January 6, 1880. She and her husband farmed at Wynot. They moved to Nazareth in 1906. Mrs. Schulte was a charter member of the Christian Mothers Society and member of the third order of St. Francis. Burial was in the Holy Family cemetery. Pallbearers were six grandsons, Gilbert, Floyd, David and George Schulte, Melvin Wills, and Tommy Britting. Attending the funeral from Hartington were Robert Schulte and daughter, Theresa; son Art, and grandson Dennis; and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Schulte and sons, Hubert and Roger.
