Services are 10:30 a.m. at the wintz Funeral Home Hartington, NE, with the Rev. Gary Kimm officiating. Burial is in the Wynot cemetery. Visitation is from 1 - 9 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. She was born to Harrison M. and Bertha (James) Hoffman, August 12, 1921, in Sommerset, KS. She grew up in Humboldt, NE., and on July 10, 1939 she married Frank Howard Snowe at Falls City, NE. They lived in Humboldt, and Hamburg, IA for several years, moving to Wynot in 1946. In 1994 she moved to Crofton, where she lived until she entered the Sister James Nursing Home, Yankton, in 1996. She was a lifelong member of the Wynot American Legion Auxilliary # 31, where she served in various offices. She was also an active member of the Wynot Methodist Church, Wynot Garden Club and other community groups. Survivors include two sons: Gilbert of Newport News, VA., and John of Wynot. Three daughters, Sharron (Mrs. Jerry) Kennedy, Tampa, FL., Jackie, (Mrs. Richard) Koch, Hubbard, NE., and Katie, (Mrs. Tony) Tramp of Crofton, NE. 10 grandchildren, one great granddaughter and one brother Ralph Hoffman of Little Rock, Ark., She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
