Jean Walton funeral held today

	Funeral services for Jeanine Rae Walton, 16, of Hartington, who 
drowned Sunday July 18, at Lewis and Clark Lake, were held this afternoon, 
Wednesday, July 21, at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Colerdige.  
Rev. Marvin Rothfusz officiated.  Burial was in the City Cemetery at 
Coleridge, under the direction of the Smith-Wintz Funeral Home.
	Jeanine was born September 6, 1948 at Hartington, the daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs. Glen Walton.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church in 
Coleridge.  Jeanine attended high school at Laurel and was a member of the 
pep club.  She also belonged to a 4-H club and a saddle club.
	Survivors include her parents; 2 sisters - Connie of West Covina, 
Calif., and Lori, of Hartington; one brother - David, of Hartington.
	Pallbearers were:  Tom Puntney, Jim McCoy, Dennis Stark, Dennis 
Loftis, Daryl Reifenrath and Russell Steffen.
	Honorary pallbearers were:  Doris Loftis, Claudette Dirks, Karen 
Johnson, Paulette Radke, Connie Krei and Kathy Forinash.
