Services were August 14 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fox Lake, with father Donald Braun officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Trenton, Kan. Clarence was born Jan. 9, 1920, near Horton, Kan., the son of Mathias and Cecelia (Bichlmeier) Weinandt. At the age of four, he moved with his parents to Wynot. He graduated from Wynot High School in 1938. He was married to Christine Lange August 25, 1947, in Hartington. He farmed with his father until 1947, when he and his wife moved to Fox Lake, where they owned and operated a dairy farm until 1988 when they retired and moved into the city of Fox Lake. Clarence was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fox Lake; a member of the building Committee for the new Rectory and Educational Center; secretary for the St. Mary's Cemetery for several years; a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters Ct. # 1920, Wynot; and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Christine, Fox Lake, Kan.; his sisters, Loretta Wiss and her husband, Jim, Lompoc, Calif., and Hildegard Bradley, Canyon City, Colo.; a brother, Leo Weinandt and his wife, Mary, Yankton, S.D.; a sister-in-law, Alice Weinandt, Wynot; and several neices, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Celestine Duncan, E. Ann Offner, Viola Sudbeck and sister Rita Corrine O.S.F.; and one brother, Clovis Weinandt.
