Weinandt, 93, formerly of Bow Valley, died Nov. 9, 1998, at Faith Regional Hospital, Norfolk. Visitation was Nov. 12 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Funeral services were Nov. 13 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Bow Valley, with Rev. Mark Tomasiewicz officiating. Burial was in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Bow Valley. Pallbearers were Jeff Wortmann, Gerard Weinandt, Roger Schnieders, Leo Weinandt, Steve Schnieders and Dan Schnieders. Juliana was born Jan. 25, 1905, to John and Barbara (Bonertz) Schnieders in Bow Valley. She married Lawrence Weinandt Aug. 22, 1935, in Hibbing, Minn. He died April 25, 1953. Juliana grew up in the Bow Valley area and lived in the Bow Valley and Hartington areas where she worked as a beautician. She moved to Long Beach, Calif., where she worked for the Douglas Air Craft Co. She moved to North Platte, where she worked in the Dietary Dept. of St. Mary's Hospital. She returned to Bow Valley for a few years and then moved to Fremont. She has lived in Norfolk for the past five years. She was an active member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include two sisters, Irene Collins, Norfolk; and Mrs. Herb (Adeline) Fischer, Sioux City, Iowa; three brothers, Ralph Schnieders, Mallard, Iowa; Clair Schnieders, Cozad: and Paul Schnieders, Randolph. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers, William, Hugo, Donald, Lester, and Edward Schnieders; and three sisters, Rita Schnieders, Anna Schnieders and Amalia Schnieders.
