Arens HARTINGTON- Henry F. Arens, 80, died Feb. 23, 2000, at Beverly Healthcare Hartington. Visitation was Feb. 25 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Mass of Christian Burial was Feb. 26 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Monsignor Cyril Werner officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers were Scott Keel, Chris Johnson, Troy Bottolfsen, David Feilmeier, Paul Feilmeier, Bryan Robinson and Danny Schroer. Henry was born Oct. 23, 1919, to Frank and Matilda Mary (Pick) Arens in Hartington. He married Marcella M. Fischer Jan. 5, 1943, in Wynot. Henry lived and farmed in the Hartington area all of his life. He also sold feed for Norco Feed Company. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church: a former member of Knights of Columbus; former King of the Bow Valley Schuetzenfest; and a member of the Farmers Union Co-op. Henry had been a resident of the Beverly Healthcare Hartington since Sept. 12, 1994. Survivors include his wife, Sally, Hartington; seven daughters and spouses, Joyce Keel, Lincoln; Mary and Roger Johnson, Yankton, S.D.; Gloria and Doug Schroer, Longview, Texas; Susan and Ric Robinson, Lincoln; Helene and Ed Bottolfsen, Hartington; Doris and Duane Feilmeier, Hartington; Lynne Konz, Hartington; two sons and spouses, Charles and Jolene Arens, Hartington; Stephen and Deb Arens, Lincoln; 38 grand- children; eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Amelia Marx, Wynot; Margaret Lammers, Hartington; Julienna Wuebben, St. Cloud, Minn.; and Teresa Hirschman, Coleridge.
