Asbre dies from Burns While engaged in the family washing Monday morning an accident occurred at the home of John C. Asbra which resulted in the death of their 2-year old daughter. The little girl fell backward and sat down into a candy pail of boiling hot water. Its screams brought the mother to its rescue, but not before it was scalded over two-thirds of it’s body. Dr. Tellesen was called and did all he could to relieve the little sufferer, but its life could not be saved and after lingering until Tuesday noon, death came to the relief of the little girl. The funeral will be conducted Thursday morning and the remains laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery at St. James. Mr. and Mrs. Asbre have the sincere sympathy of all in their sad bereavement. Little Sadie Asbre was two years old in June and was a strikingly beautiful child of a loving disposition.
