Services were June 18 at Faith Lutheran Church, Maskell, with the Rev. Ted Youngerman officiating. Burial was in the Wynot Public Cemetery, Wynot. Pallbearers were Stephan John Bair, Stephan Duane Bair, Lonnie Duane Bair, Shawn Michael Bair, Arnold Ray Johnson, James Arnold Johnson, Rick and Dave Ferris. Betty was born May 20, 1933, to Peter and Lena Larson in Milbank, S.D. She married Duane Bair July 16, 1955, in Rapid City, S.D. Between 1955-74, she and her husband lived in several different cities while he served in the U.S. Air Force. They lived in Sioux City from 1974-96 and moved to Wynot in December 1996. While in Sioux City, she worked for Red Onion, Inc., then worked for 11 years for Sneaky's before retiring in April 1995 due to ill health. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Maskell, and was a former member of Faith Lutheran Church, Sioux City, Iowa. Survivors include her husband, Duane, Wynot; two sons, Stephan and Susan Bair, Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and Lonnie Bair, Dakota City; one daughter, Sharon and Arnold Johnson, Omaha; 12 grandchildren: three brothers, Oden Butch Larson and Carl Larson, both of Sioux City, Iowa; John Larson, Longmont, Colo.; two sisters, Mable Lindahl, Brookings, S.D.; and Millie Bixler, McMinnville, Ore.
