Her service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. Cyril Werner officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitations will be from 1-9 p.m. Sunday at Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington, where Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tim and Jody Jensen, Ronald and Doug Bergman, James Bottolfsen and Larry Hoffart. Mrs. Bergman, the former Ethel G. Gothier, was born Jan. 19, 1892 in Climbing Hill, Iowa. She was married Feb. 19, 1912 in Wynot. Mr. Bergman died March 31, 1977. She was a member of Christian Mothers. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Francis (Laura) Whitehorn, Mrs. Anton (Lucile) Jensen and Mrs. Herbert (Loretta) Bottolsen, all of Hartington, Mrs. Leo (Dorothy) Nielsen, Oregon City, Ore., and Mrs. Edward (Madeline) Kruse, Fullerton, Calif.; two sons, Glenn and Dale, both of Hartington; two brothers, Gerald, Greeley, Colo., and Earl, Belleview, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Grindvold, Circle, Mont., Mrs. Earl (Margaret) Williams, Pierce, Idaho and Mrs. Roy (Mabel) Armstrong, Flandreau; 40 grandchildren; 47 great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and sisters. OCTOBER 1981 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS Mrs. Joseph Bergman Mrs. Joseph Bergman, 89, of Hartington died friday, Oct. 9, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D. Services were conducted by the Rev. Cyril Werner on Monday, OCt. 12, in Holy Trinity Catholic Chruch. The Rosary was Sunday evening. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington. Pallbearers were Tim Jensen, Ronald Bergman, James Bottolfsen, Larry Hoffart, Jody Jensen and Bruce Dunning. Mrs. Bergman, the former Ethel G. Gothier, was born Jan. 19, 1892, at Climbing Hill, Iowa. her parents were Louis and Maude (Dubel) Gothier. On Feb. 19, 1912, she married Joseph Bergman at Wynot. He died March 31, 1977.
